Alberta has once again wowed candidates with invitations to immigrate
The province has conducted three new selections.
On August 2, the province of Alberta released the results of three recent draws for skilled workers with a profile in Express Entry. There were few invitations this time, only 57. They were issued only to candidates with occupations in certain sectors.
All applicants must register with Express Entry and meet the requirements of one of the federal immigration programs:
On July 18, Alberta invited 14 applicants with health professions and a job offer in the province. Selected applicants were required to score 311 points in the Comprehensive Ranking System.
On August 1, another drawing for medics with a job offer was held. The passing score was higher, 317, and 11 people were selected.
On the same day, Alberta issued another 32 invitations to candidates with agricultural occupations and a job offer. They had to score a minimum of 322 points.
Points are awarded for age, language skills, education, having a job offer, and similar factors.
The previous selections in Alberta were held on July 11 and 13. One was for applicants with tourism and hospitality professions, the second one was for all applicants regardless of their occupations.
