New July draws in Alberta

New July draws in Alberta

The province is once again delighting candidates with in-demand occupations.

On July 21, the province of Alberta shared the results of the recent selections for professionals with an Express Entry profile. 292 candidates in two draws were invited.

There is a common requirement for all applicants to have an Express Entry profile and meet the requirements of one of the federal immigration programs:

On July 11, the province selected 150 candidates with tourism and hospitality occupations and a job offer in Alberta. For this category, the minimum score in the Comprehensive Ranking System was 435.

On July 13, Alberta sent 142 invitations in a general draw. Applicants could have any profession, but preference was given to those who had relatives in the region or an in-demand specialty. Here the passing score was lower — 302.

The province's previous selections were held on June 29 and July 4.
