New Brunswick invited candidates for immigration
The province shared the results of the May selections.
New Brunswick shared how many candidates the region invited to immigrate this May. During the month, 93 invitations were sent to the New Brunswick Express Entry stream candidates.
To apply under this stream, applicants must register with Express Entry and meet the requirements of one of the federal immigration programs:
In May, invitations were distributed among several categories of applicants:
- Employment Connection: candidates with a job offer in New Brunswick or currently working in the province — 21 invitations;
- Student Connection: candidates who graduated from a university or college in the province — 10 invitations;
- Occupations In-Demand Connection: candidates with professions in demand in the province — 62 invitations.
The region sent most invitations to those applicants with in-demand occupations. In this category, New Brunswick does not publish a list of specific occupations, and applicants cannot apply for immigration to the province. The region independently selects applicants from the Express Entry pool that they are interested in and invites them to apply for immigration to New Brunswick.
The region sent 86 invitations in April, and more than half of them went to candidates with a job offer or current job in New Brunswick. Similar draws are held every month.
