G7 Summit

Last week in Hiroshima concluded a meeting of world leaders known as the G7 Summit. Canada, the United States, Germany, Italy, France, Japan, and the United Kingdom met for the 49th time.

As always, global leaders of tomorrow discussed the challenges of our time and set new benchmarks. As the most developed and influential countries, the G7 members to some extent determine the development of the world and civilization.

G7 leaders discussed strengthening global economic security, adhering to the United Nations (UN) Charter, and working in partnership with emerging economies and developing countries to address common challenges.

Today's global challenges – wars, climate change, food shortages, and the threat of nuclear war – require urgent solutions and close international cooperation.
