Alberta makes immigration selections more often

The province used to have one or two drawings a month, but in April there were already five!

On April 20-25, the province of Alberta held three immigration drawings for specialists with an Express Entry profile.

On April 20, the province invited 152 candidates who scored a minimum of 302 on the Comprehensive Ranking System. It was a common selection for all professionals, but priority was given to those with relatives in the province or in-demand professions.

On April 24, a drawing was held for applicants with a job offer in Alberta in the construction sector. The invitations were received by 124 applicants, and the minimum score was 301.

On April 25, Alberta invited 8 candidates who scored 316 or more and had a job offer in Alberta in the healthcare sector.

Among other things, all applicants must have an Express Entry profile and meet the requirements of one of the federal immigration programs:

This is not the first time Alberta has held targeted drawings. Previously there were drawings on April 5 and 18, in which healthcare professionals and agricultural workers were invited.
