Alberta held its first targeted draws

The candidates have waited a very long time for this.

The province of Alberta has released the results of two immigration draws this month. They were held on April 5 and 18, and both were only for in-demand specialists with an Express Entry profile. These are the first targeted selections in Alberta.

On April 5, the province sent 53 invitations to candidates who scored a minimum of 351 on the Comprehensive Ranking System and were offered jobs in Alberta in health care.

On April 18, a draw was held for candidates with an offer of employment in Alberta in the agricultural field. The province selected 68 people with a minimum passing score of 307.

In addition to the above criteria, applicants are required to have an Express Entry profile and meet the requirements of one of the federal immigration programs:

Previously, Alberta had a drawing on March 30, it was general for all candidates, and the passing score was 301.
