Summer jobs up to $30 CAD per hour. Applications are already being accepted
Parks Canada is looking for people who want to work in parks. The offer is available nationwide.
The federal agency that manages all the national parks, marine reserves and historic sites is looking for students and temporary workers to work for the summer of 2023.
Salary and hourly rate will depend on the job and age chosen.
High school students can also work. For them the hourly rate will be from $16 CAD, for university students the average rate is $20 CAD, for temporary workers it is about $30 CAD.
The agency offers jobs both directly in parks and nature reserves, outdoors, and for technicians as office workers: junior analysts, clerical assistants, Internet content and media personnel. You will be able to work in the most beautiful and culturally significant places in the country.
There are more than 100 jobs on the list, and it takes no more than 15 minutes to apply.
To apply, you must:
- tell about yourself in a short form;
- indicate your education and level of proficiency in the language;
- choose 10 jobs that interest you;
- specify 5 interesting types of work;
- upload your resume.
It is recommended that you fill out the application at one time and have it in 15 minutes. Therefore, prepare your resume in advance.
This practice is held by Parks Canada each year. Statistically, more than 3,000 students and temporary workers are involved in summer jobs, including customer service, facility maintenance, upkeep, office support and administration.
If accommodation is needed, the staff will help with the solution. It is necessary to refer to the official website for more information.
