Future Immigrant Services in New Brunswick
The province wants to attract more new permanent residents.
The province New Brunswick has had an investor service called Business Navigator since 2019 that provides one-on-one advice to entrepreneurs on regulatory issues related to starting, owning and operating a business. Now the province is introducing a similar service for those wishing to relocate to New Brunswick.
Immigration Navigator will help prospective immigrants figure out what they need to do to get permanent residency and match them with the right employers in New Brunswick. The province has been successful in attracting immigrants in recent years and wants to increase their numbers to the maximum allowed by the federal government. Local employers will also be counseled on hiring foreigners.
