Canada closes 6 immigration streams
This is the last chance to apply.
On May 6, Canada launched at once 6 temporary immigration streams, which were scheduled to admit 90,000 people. The programs are intended for those who are in the country on a work visa.
The streams accept applications from healthcare professionals, other in-demand professions and graduates of Canadian universities. Applicants are recruited separately for English-speaking and separately for French-speaking and bilingual.
On November 5, the acceptance of applications will close. The Department of Immigration was considering extending streams due to insufficient applications, but this will not happen.
The stream for English-speaking health professionals left about 13,000 seats available out of 20,000. Recruitment of English-speaking workers closed in July due to reaching the limit of 30,000 applications, and of university graduates (40,000) 25 hours after recruitment opened, with Canada accepting 7,307 applications over the limit due to an error in the system. Flows for French-speaking candidates were not restricted.
You can apply at the official Canada website. Registration will close on November 5, but those who have managed to create an account will be able to track the status of their application.
Canada has more than 120 immigration programs that suit a huge number of applicants. A licensed immigration consultant can help you find the best program and complete all the paperwork.
