Alberta posted the results of two draws

The province continues to hold selections each week.

Alberta's immigration program has shared the results of two immigration selections that took place last week and the week before. The drawings took place among applicants who participated in the immigration stream with selection through Express Entry.

The first draw was held on September 14, with 385 people invited; the second draw was held on September 21, with 450 people invited. In both drawings the passing score according to Complex ranking system was 300. It is unchanged from the last selection, which took place on September 7.

Candidates who receive a provincial nomination are awarded an additional 600 points. This virtually guarantees an invitation to the subsequent Express Entry draw.

To maximize your chances of receiving an invitation from the Province of Alberta, keep an eye on history of passing scores and number of invitations.
