Alberta has shared the results of two immigration selections that took place in the last week of August. Alberta's immigration program sent out a total of 850 invitations to apply for nominations from the province. The drawings took place among applicants who participated in the immigration stream with selection through Express Entry and were the largest in the last 3 years.

The first draw was held on August 23, in which 450 people were invited, and the passing score on Comprehensive Ranking System was 300. The next draw was held on August 30, with 400 people invited and a passing score of 301.
