Alberta shared the results of the immigration raffle

More than 100 people were the lucky ones this time.

On June 29, Alberta's immigration program sent 148 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination. The drawing was held among candidates who participated in the provincial immigration stream with selection through Express Entry.

The minimum score on the complex ranking system was 302. This is 2 points higher compared to the previous selection, which took place on 22 June.

In order to be invited to be selected, applicants were required to have a profile in the Express Entry system, which the Canadian federal government uses to process applications for permanent residence under the three federal immigration programs:

Candidates who receive a provincial nomination are awarded an additional 600 points. This virtually guarantees that they will receive an invitation to apply in a subsequent Express Entry draw.

To maximize your chances of receiving an invitation to apply for a nomination from the Province of Alberta, keep an eye on history of passing scores and number of invitations.
