France has opened its borders to Canadians
Canadians will now be able to go on holiday to Paris with no problem.
On 17 June, France issued a decree making it easier for travellers from Canada to enter the country. Canada is considered a low prevalence country for COVID-19, so those arriving will not have to comply with quarantine in France.
Moreover, Canadians are allowed to travel to France without good reason, even if they are not vaccinated. However, tourists who have not been vaccinated will be required to present a negative test for COVID-19, taken no earlier than 72 hours before departure, when boarding the plane.
Previously, borders for Canadians opened to Italy. Canadians can fly there without quarantine, but with a negative test.
