Canada's friendliest cities
In these cities you will always be smiled at and told how to find your way. A survey showed which cities' residents seem the most friendly to tourists.
A new city is always stressful: unfamiliar streets, unfamiliar people... especially when it comes to moving. Travel company Big 7 Travel has compiled a list of 25 Canadian cities that they found to be the friendliest, based on a survey and traveler feedback.
Tourists evaluated localities on the basis of whether it was easy to find their way around, whether locals helped them find their way around, and whether it was easy to start a conversation and find new acquaintances.
So, the list of winners:

You will definitely get around all the best places! And you won't get in trouble because it's absolutely normal here for a stranger to help you clear snow from your car or carry your groceries home.

Huntsville has a very "homey" feel to it. Tourists are welcomed here, and year after year, tourists return to this friendly place.

Halifax is a pretty big city, but the atmosphere there is more like a small town. But most importantly, you will be welcomed with open arms. There are a lot of immigrants here, by the way, and everyone is welcome by the locals.
1. Vancouver, British Columbia
And our winner is Vancouver. It's a very cosmopolitan and multicultural city, and the residents are incredibly friendly and will always offer help. So everyone will feel welcome.
By the way, did you notice that there are a lot of cities from Ontario and British Columbia in the rankings? Apparently those provinces are the most welcoming.
