Immigration to Yukon for critically needed workers

Low-skilled workers who have received a job offer in Yukon can immigrate through the Critical Impact Worker stream.

The Critical Impact Worker stream of the Yukon Nominee Program is designed for low-skilled workers who have received a job offer in this region.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible to apply for the Critical Impact Worker stream, you must meet the following criteria:

  • receive a job offer for a TEER 4 or 5 occupation in the NOC classification (low-skilled and unskilled jobs);
  • have at least 6 months of work experience in a position similar to the one offered;
  • have at least a high school education;
  • have English or French language skills at CLB level 4 (basic level).

How to apply

The candidate must work with their employer to complete and submit an immigration application.
