Requirements

To be eligible for the Skilled Workers stream in Prince Edward Island, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be between 18 and 59 years old;
  • Have a permanent, non-seasonal (at least 2 years) job offer from a provincial employer for a high-skilled position classified as TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3;
  • Have 2 years of work experience in the last 5 years;
  • Be working in the province at the time of application and have a valid work permit;
  • Have legal status in the country;
  • Have post-secondary education of at least 2 years;
  • Demonstrate English or French language proficiency at CLB level 4 (basic level) or provide employer confirmation that your language level is sufficient for the job;
  • Demonstrate adequate financial resources to cover immigration and settlement costs in the province.
