Immigration to Prince Edward Island for international graduates
Foreigners who have graduated from an educational institution in Prince Edward Island and found employment can immigrate through the International Graduates stream.
The International Graduates stream of the Prince Edward Island provincial program is designed for graduates of local universities and colleges who have found a job in the province. A special feature of the stream is that the province does not impose specific language level requirements and does not require a language test.
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for the International Graduates stream, you must meet the following requirements:
- be between the ages of 18 and 59;
- complete an educational program in Prince Edward Island;
- get a job offer in the province;
- have sufficient proficiency in English or French to fulfill job responsibilities;
- show the ability to financially support yourself and your family members.
Candidate evaluation
Prince Edward Island evaluates candidates for immigration using the provincial Expression of Interest system. It offers up to 100 points for factors such as age, education, employment, and adaptability. Points are awarded as follows:
