Immigration to Saskatchewan for health professionals

People working in the province's healthcare sector can immigrate through the Saskatchewan Experience – Health Professionals stream.

The Health Professionals stream of Saskatchewan’s provincial program is designed for candidates who have obtained the necessary certifications and licenses to work in health care and have found an employer in the province.

The Health Professionals stream falls into three categories:

  • physicians;
  • nurses;
  • other health professionals.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for the Health Professionals stream, you must meet the following requirements:

  • have worked in Saskatchewan for 6 months or more in a healthcare profession;
  • get a job offer in the province in a NOC skills level 0, A, B or C occupation;
  • have a license to work in the specialty;
  • for those whose occupation is NOC C: demonstrate proficiency in English or French at level 4 on the CLB scale.
