Immigration to Ontario for French-speaking skilled workers
Professionals who know English and French can immigrate through the French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream.
The French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream of Ontario's provincial program allows qualified professionals who speak two of Canada's official languages to obtain permanent residency.
Eligibility
To apply for the French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream, you must meet the following requirements:
- have an active profile in the Express Entry system and meet the criteria for one of the federal programs:
- have a higher education;
- demonstrate knowledge of Canada's two official languages:
- French at level 7 on the CLB scale;
- English at level 6 on the CLB scale.
How to apply
After creating an Express Entry profile, the candidate must register on Ontario's official website.
