College of the Desert is considered an exemplary community college and has been recognized with a number of awards for the success of its students. Funding is provided through a variety of sources, including government grants and endowments.

The college offers more than 100 different academic programs. Business Administration is considered the top major, and a number of other programs are also particularly popular among students:

Seattle Colleges is a system of educational institutions in Seattle, Washington. Seattle Colleges includes three colleges, North Seattle College, Seattle Central College, and South Seattle College. In addition, it also has 5 special training centers within its structure.
