Alberta reported on the selection for medicare
The passing scores this time are lower than the previous time.
The Province of Alberta shared the results of an immigration raffle held on Nov. 9 specifically for health care workers.
A total of 16 invitations were sent out to applicants who scored at least 305 points. The previous time applicants with professions in the field of medicine were selected on October 24, then the passing score was much higher.
Points in the Comprehensive Ranking System are awarded for age, education, work experience, language skills and other factors.
To be eligible for immigration under this stream, a candidate must fulfill a number of requirements:
- have an active profile in the Express Entry system;
- meet the minimum criteria of one of the three federal programs:
- score a minimum of 300 points in the Express Entry system;
- receive a job offer in Alberta in the health care industry;
- meet the requirements for obtaining a license to practice the profession;
- have one of the eligible professions — complete list at link.
