New Horizons in Education: Fanshawe Toronto@ILAC launches two new study programs

Students will be able to begin to study on them as early as next summer.

Fanshawe College is a public institution of higher education and one of the largest colleges in Canada. Fanshawe welcomes thousands of international students each year. In partnership with ILAC International College, Fanshawe opened a campus in Toronto that opened to students in September 2022.

Fanshawe Toronto@ILAC offers studies in diploma programs (for school leavers) and postgraduate certificate programs (for those who already have a college degree). The main advantages of studying at Fanshawe Toronto@ILAC are:

New programs

The list of majors you can study at Fanshawe Toronto@ILAC isn't the longest, but they're all in demand in Toronto. And this week, the college announced that two new postgraudate programs will be added to the list next May:

Once the first stream of students is admitted in May 2024, these programs will be available for admission 3 times per year: in January, May, and September.

Entry requirements

Since these are postgraduate programs, you must have a degree or a diploma to enroll in them. In the case of Chronic Disease Management, you must have a degree or diploma in a health-related field. For the Construction Project Management program, you should have a degree or diploma in construction or a related field such as architecture or landscaping.

Applicants must also demonstrate English language proficiency. An average IELTS score of 6.5 is required and none of the test components (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing) must be scored below 6.0.

Admission without IELTS.

Through a partnership between Fanshawe and ILAC, applicants can enroll in ILAC's University Pathway program instead of taking IELTS. After after finishing the University Pathway program, applicants receive a certificate, which is their proof of language proficiency. This certificate can be submitted to the college instead of the IELTS certificate. In addition to Fanshawe College, ILAC works with dozens of colleges and universities across Canada.
