Canada's job market continues to delight job seekers with good new job openings. Several agencies in the Government of Canada are now looking for remote and blended workers. Workers are needed for the Canadian Revenue Service, Communications Security Agency, Employment Centre, etc.

Some positions offer additional bonuses: flexible work schedules and compressed workweeks. Salaries range from $50,821 to $124,208 CAD per year. A college degree is desirable, but not necessary, to get some of these jobs. Experience requirements are also doable: sometimes you don't need it at all, and sometimes a year in a similar position will suffice.

Employee in the Department of Benefits and Compensation

Such officers are needed in the Royal Mounted Police. The job will be in Ottawa. Salaries are promised ranging from $50,821 to $54,857 CAD. To get this position, you only need to have a high school education and experience in similar areas: finance, benefits and entitlements. You also need to have the gentleman's kit of an office worker: proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Perks include a mixed work schedule, a free gym and a canteen right in the office.

Employees at the Employment Center

There are two jobs to choose from: benefits and employment programs. That is, you will advise people on what benefits and tax credits they are entitled to, or you will tell them about employment programs. Salaries range from $61,152 to $65,887 CAD. There are jobs in different offices throughout the province of Quebec.

Requires a high school diploma and experience in the service industry. Experience interpreting and applying the law is important. For example, you will need to determine what kind of employment program or benefit a particular person can apply for.

You can work in person or remotely. There is also a flexible work schedule.

This position will be open until September 15, 2023.

Software Developer

The Communications Security Agency is looking for such employees in Ottawa. The salary is 1.5-2 times the Canadian average: from $91,585 to $124,208 CAD per year.

A college or university degree in computer science, engineering, or mathematics is required. Experience in software development, testing, implementation, support, or enhancement is also required. You need to be proficient in frameworks and know at least one of the following programming languages: Java, C, C++, Python.

The employer offers flexible working conditions, including the ability to work from home several days a week. As is often the case with programmers, overtime is possible and will be paid for separately.

Tax auditor

Workers are needed in different regions of the country. The vacancy was opened by the Internal Revenue Service of Canada. They promise to pay from $64,605 to $84,590 CAD.

To get this job, you must have an accounting diploma or certificate. All necessary working equipment will be provided by the Service.

This position is available to work in the office, at home, or a mixed schedule.

The employer here is the Canadian Electoral Commission. The job will be in Gatineau, Quebec. This position pays between $54,878 and $61,379 CAD.

No work experience is required. You need a high school diploma, Microsoft software skills, and the ability to analyze large amounts of information.

Sometimes you will need to be in an office in Gatineau, but mostly remote work is available.

People who have completed a university or college program of 2 years or more can apply for the position. A degree or certificate is required in areas such as computer science, programming, data protection, information management, etc. Experience in project documentation, reporting, collecting and analyzing information, and providing recommendations and solutions is required.

It is possible to work remotely two to three days a week. For people who work only in programming, fully remote work is available.

The ministry offers a flexible work schedule and a mixed schedule. It is possible to work from home 2-3 days a week.
