Fanshawe@ILAC: Study with an internship in downtown Toronto

And a discount especially for our customers!

Studying in the heart of Canada, living and working in the metropolis, and getting a permanent residence permit. And what if you add free English classes to that? You'll get all of that when you enroll at Fanshawe@ILAC.

The college is located in downtown Toronto and offers international students to learn a sought-after profession in Canada in 1 to 2 years, complete an internship while studying, and obtain an official work permit in the country after graduation.

About the college

Fanshawe College is a public institution of higher education with its main campus in London, Ontario. Each year the college enrolls students from more than 100 countries. In partnership with the private ILAC International College, Fanshawe has opened a campus in Toronto.

Some college programs include mandatory paid on-the-job training, which allows you to gain work experience in your profession while you are still a student. Upon graduation, students receive a 1 to 3-year work permit.

Both high school graduates and students who already have a degree and want to continue their education can apply to the college.

Advantages of a Canadian education

Entering college is one of the popular immigration ways. Education in Canada adds points to candidates in immigration programs and opens up additional programs not available to other applicants. In addition, graduates usually have a better command of English. Since you get a work permit after you study, you can get a job offer and work experience, which brings even more points and opens up more permanent residency programs for you.

Another advantage is that the whole family can go to Canada. When you enter college, your spouse or partner has the right to apply for a Canadian work permit. This way, you can study and your partner can work. If you have children, they can attend Canadian school for free.

Benefits of studying in Toronto

Toronto is Canada's largest metropolitan area as well as an economic and financial centre. It is a great city for building a career and making network connections. It will be much easier for students who study in Toronto to find a part-time job while studying, a company for an internship, and a permanent job after completing an academic program.

Entry without exams

Canadian colleges have no entrance exams. But they do require proof of English language skills. Fanshawe@ILAC is offering 12 free weeks of University Pathway English as part of your application.

A special feature of this program is that students not only learn English, but also prepare for Canadian institutions of higher education by learning about Canadian studies, writing essays, academic papers, and the like. This invaluable experience will help you focus fully on your studies once you get there.

Once you have completed the University Pathway program, you do not need to take a language test to be enrolled.

Organizational issues

To go to Canada to study, students must have at least CAD 10,000 per person in their bank account, and an additional CAD 3,000-4,000 for each accompanying family member. This money should be taken with you to cover living expenses in Canada.

Fanshawe@ILAC starts three times a year. It is recommended that you apply for admission 8 to 12 months before your intended start date in order to obtain your student visa. You must pay your first-semester tuition at least 10 weeks in advance.

Students can choose to live with a Canadian family, in a residence, or find housing on their own.

Our company takes care of all issues with the application for an educational program and study visa. We will also help you to find a suitable program, increase the chances of visa approval, solve the issues with accommodation and others, if necessary.
