Sports legacy minted in eternity
The Royal Canadian Mint has dedicated a new issue to four national sports.
For more than a century, the Royal Canadian Mint has preserved the traditions and commemorations of Canada's great history. Following the coins commemorating Queen Elizabeth II, the honour goes to the sports that united the nation.
Hockey, curling, golf and baseball, like the four elements, form the basis of the Canadian worldview. After all, sport is an opportunity to achieve excellence, to develop one's talents and skills at the highest level.
