The University of Toronto was top ranked
The University of Toronto is back in the top of the world's best schools.
The annual QS World University Rankings ranked the University of Toronto 34th out of nearly 1,500 institutions. UoT ranked second among all Canadian universities; the first place was taken by McGill University in Montreal.
In addition, the University of Toronto was ranked 27th among universities for engineering and technology and 1st among Canadian universities in the fields of data science, computer science and information, life sciences, medicine, and arts and humanities.
The top 3 universities include the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge University and Stanford University.
