The Canadian government urgently needs IT specialists
The Canadian authorities are ready to provide jobs in the IT sphere for citizens and foreign residents with permanent residency. How to get there?

Salary: $60,696 CAD to $126,390 CAD.

Basic requirements
- Successful completion of 2 years of study at an accredited institution of higher education with an emphasis in computer science, information technology, information management, or a similar field relevant to the position;
- equivalent experience. If you have been trained in the workplace or other programs, and your knowledge is equivalent to a degree from a two-year institution of higher education, you may be eligible for consideration.
If you have experience in one or more of the areas listed below, be sure to answer the checklist questions completely and provide detailed information. All information is shared with hiring managers.
Be sure to indicate whether you have experience in:
- application development;
- application testing/quality assurance;
- database administration;
- work in the areas of cybersecurity/information security / IT security;
- IT business analytics / IT project management;
- enterprise architecture;
- information data analysis;
- information management (IM).
Experience with a variety of assets can be considered an important criterion. Meeting one or more eligibility requirements can be a deciding factor in the selection process.
Additional requirements for candidates: English and French (or English or French at a good level), analytical thinking, customer focus, teamwork, and ability to communicate effectively (assessed throughout the process).
Suggested areas of focus:
- adaptive computer technology;
- enterprise resource planning and cloud solutions;
- management of information technology services;
- Mainframe hardware and software, networks, data centre facility management;
- server hardware and software;
- Web page design or software development;
- telecommunications, personal computer infrastructure and software testing.
