Three more job fairs to get a job in Canada
The Canadian province is looking for professionals in several areas.
The province of New Brunswick has announced three job fairs scheduled for October 2022. They will be held in the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, and France, but citizens of any country can register if they can attend the event. The fairs are hosted by the New Brunswick government in conjunction with local employers.
Requirements
To participate, you must have 1 year of experience in a suitable occupation and at least a high school education. You will also need the following documents to complete the application:
- CV — obligatory;
- report on educational credentials assessment — if available;
- results of a language test — if available.
Also, when filling out the form, be prepared to answer a few questions in video format.
Job fairs
New Brunswick is planning job fairs in the following countries:
- UK (London) — for health care professionals, the deadline to apply is October 16;
- UAE (Dubai) — for health care, IT, science, and trades professionals, the deadline to apply is September 11;
- France — for health care professionals, the deadline to apply is October 31.
Suitable occupations
New Brunswick invites candidates with in-demand occupations to job fairs, but even if your specialty is not on the list, you can still apply.
The following health professions are appropriate for all three fairs:
- nursing co-ordinators and supervisors;
- registered nurses;
- specialist physicians;
- general practitioners and family physicians;
- allied primary health practitioners;
- other professional occupations in health diagnosing and treating;
- licensed practical nurses;
- paramedical occupations;
- nurse aides, orderlies, and patient service associates;
- psychologists;
- social workers.
The other occupations are only suitable for a job fair in the UAE.
Information Technology:
- computer engineers;
- information systems analysts and consultants;
- database analysts and data administrators;
- software engineers and designers;
- computer programmers and interactive media developers;
- web designers and developers;
- computer network technicians;
- user support technicians;
- information systems testing technicians.

How to apply
You can choose a suitable job fair on the official New Brunswick website and apply online. You can register for more than one fair at a time. New Brunswick's selection committee will select applicants and send them invitations to the fair as well as accurate information about times and locations.
