The province of Ontario is targeting francophones

More than 100 people with knowledge of the French language were selected in a provincial immigration raffle.

On July 21, the Ontario Immigration Program sent 115 notices of interest to candidates who may qualify for the stream for francophone professionals.

To qualify for this selection, candidates had to score between 461 and 467 points on the Complex Ranking System. The minimum score was 3 points higher than in the previous drawing, which took place on May 4.

Applicants who have received notification of interest may apply for provincial nomination. They will be awarded 600 extra points in Express Entry system if they are successful in getting the nomination. Due to this high score, they will easily be able to get an invitation to PML in the next selection through this stream.

To maximize your chances of receiving a nomination from Ontario, we recommend keeping an eye on history of passing scores and number of invitations.
