Canada is still looking for census workers

It's a good time to get your resume ready!

In May 2021, Canada will have a census. And while work on it has already begun, Statistics Canada is still in search of staff. That's what the office wrote on its Twitter feed. There are now 32,000 people across the country who are looking for part-time work, with positions open from counter clerk to crew leader.

Non-management positions start at $17.83 CAD per hour ($29.25 in remote and northern regions) and management positions start at $21.77 CAD per hour ($31.25 in remote and northern regions). Employees are also reimbursed for possible expenses.

The job is suitable for people over the age of 18 who are legally in Canada and willing to work 20 to 40 hours per week. The work is scheduled to run until July 2021.
