Census 2021: not a bad way to make money

In 2021, Canada will have its 23rd census. Statistic Canada plans to hire 32,000 people to make it a success.

As early as May 2021, Canada will have its next population census, which takes place every five years. This is a great way to paint a portrait of the country's population, to study the needs of Canadians.

We have prepared detailed instructions on how to get temporary census work, how much you can earn and what duties you will have to do. The work will take place between March and July 2021.

Who is required:

All work will be carried out directly in the field and is related to data collection. To date, it is known that two positions are planned to be recruited: Counter and Team Leader.

The counters work part-time and the working hours will vary from region to region. However, it is known that most of their work will be in the evening and on weekends.

The wage for the counter position is $17.83 CAD per hour, plus working expenses. However, in some northern and just remote communities the wage will be $29.25 CAD per hour.
