Immigration to the Northwest Territories for semi-skilled workers
Professionals with experience in medium or low-skilled occupations can immigrate through the Entry Level/Semi-Skilled Occupations stream.
The Entry Level/Semi-Skilled Occupations stream of the Northwest Territories program allows mid and low-skilled professionals who have found work in the territory to immigrate.
Eligibility
To apply for the Entry Level/Semi-Skilled Occupations stream, you must meet the following requirements:
- get a job offer in the Northwest Territories in a NOC skills level C or D occupation (semi-skilled and unskilled occupations);
- have worked for at least 6 months for the same employer from whom the offer is received;
- demonstrate proficiency in English or French at level 4 on the CLB scale;
- have enough money to settle in the Northwest Territories: $10,000 CAD per person and $2,000 CAD for each additional family member.
