Canadians decided to honor Elizabeth II with money

For 70 years the queen was the ruler of Canada and did her duty honestly. And until September 8, 2022, she was the only ruler many Canadians have ever known.

To honour the Queen the Canadian Mint has issued collectable coins. Elizabeth II has played an integral role in the lives of the Canadian people for 70 years, as evidenced by her many visits and support for the nation. During her 22 royal tours, Elizabeth II visited much of Canada. She joined the people of the country in celebrating achievements and expressing her deep love and respect for the people.
