Huge population jump in Saskatchewan
The province is experiencing the largest increase in population in 108 years.
In the past year, Saskatchewan's population increased by almost 30,000 people, reaching the number of 1,2 million. This is the largest population jump in the province since 1914.
Scott Moe, premier of Saskatchewan, called the reasons for it: economic growth, great quality of life and job opportunities. In 2022, Saskatchewan offered more than 20,000 full-time jobs.
