A Canadian province offers free courses
Canadians and immigrants can learn in-demand professions.
The province of British Columbia is helping residents learn in-demand professions. A new adult education program has been launched for that. Institutions will offer 26 new academic programs and English language classes at the start of the school year. Newcomers can take advantage of this opportunity, too.
The initiative should help the province address labour shortages and help residents gain new skills to advance their careers. The training is funded by the government, with an investment of $3.5 million CAD.
