Vacation flights for Canadians will become easier

After 18 years, direct flights between Canada and one of the most popular destinations in the U.S. have been restored

Canada's largest airline has announced the resumption of direct flights from Vancouver International Airport to Miami International Airport. The last time direct service between Canada and this U.S. destination was in 2004.

According to statistics for 2019, more than 56,000 passengers booked connecting flights to get to Miami. This let airline executives know that direct flights to this destination are in demand and expected among Canadians.

The direction will open on December 17, 2022. At the moment it is planned that the flights will be regular until April 2023. Flights will take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Total travel time will be about 5 hours.

Tickets are already available for purchase on the Air Canada website. One-way options sell for just over $300 CAD, including all taxes and fees, and refunds are just over $550 CAD.
