B.C. government to be sued
The reason for the lawsuits is discrimination.
On September 29, the Canadian Constitutional Fund announced that it will file a lawsuit against the B.C. government. The lawsuit will be filed because of the introduction of vaccination passports.
The Foundation is an independent charitable organization that defends the constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens in the courts and among public opinion.
Representatives said that the mandatory vaccination passport measures are flawed. They now discriminate against those Canadians who have a medical exemption from vaccination.
As Christine Van Geyl, the Foundation's director of litigation, explains, cases where vaccination is contraindicated are not accounted for. The lawsuit is expected to bring this omission to the attention of the provincial government. The authorities will take note and introduce exceptions to the rules.
However, the Fund should refer to the administrative law before filing a lawsuit with the judiciary.
