In the Stanley Cup semifinal series, the Canadian team confidently defeated their rivals, the Vegas Golden Knights with a score of 4-1.

Team goalie Cary Price was instrumental in stopping 26 of the opponent's 27 pucks. The only miss provided only temporary support to the Knights, in no way affecting the outcome of the match. From the first minutes, the Montreal Canadiens game looked confident and well-coordinated.

"Everyone on our team knows their roles and we're playing exceptionally well," Canadian assistant coach Luke Richardson said after the successful game.

Another win, Thursday in Montreal or Saturday in Vegas, would secure the team's first trip to the Finals since their last Stanley Cup victory in 1993.
