Canada's most tranquil city chosen
The city was also ranked among the top 15 cities in the world.
A new ranking that examined 100 cities around the world has identified the most stressful and tranquil cities. Places were ranked based on criteria such as safety, gender and minority equality, population density, traffic, weather, pollution, unemployment, financial stress, mental health, access to health care and COVID response.
After analyzing all the criteria, three Canadian cities made the top 30 list: Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal. Quebec's most populous city ranks 12th in the world with the lowest stress levels, while Vancouver ranks 29th, just one position above Toronto's 30th.
Reykjavik, Bern and Helsinki are in the top three quietest cities in the world.
