One province in Canada has vaccinated 50% of the population
And he's approaching his next target.
More than 50% of Ontarians aged 18 years and older have already received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. More than one million doses have been administered in the province since early May alone.

Although Ontario is now vaccinating predominantly people in priority populations, starting May 24, vaccination enrollment should become available for all residents 18 years and older. By the end of May, Ontario plans to vaccinate at least one dose of 65% of the population — even though the province has stopped using the AstraZeneca vaccine due to side effects.
As of May 11, 6.4 million doses of vaccine had been administered in the province. At least one dose had been given to 93% of residents 80 years of age and older and 92% of residents 75 to 79 years of age. Fully immunized 400,000 residents, including 96% of residents in long-term care facilities, allowing the government to lift some restrictions and allow them close contact with others.
