How to register for the course?
The first and most important step is to fill form to register at the language school. You choose the appropriate program and course for you, the number of weeks and the time slot. All relevant information for your selection will be provided in the form.
After completing the form you will receive an email from the manager (immigrant.today) inviting you to fill in the personal data in the questionnaire for the language school.
What will need to be specified:
-
Passport details (if you have a foreign passport, specify it);
-
residence address;
-
emergency contact;
-
the model of the device used for training.
After receiving the application form from you, the manager will send your data to the language school for registration. In 1-2 days expect an email about the next steps.
Important:Studies start on Mondays (or Saturdays) and you should allow 3-4 days for registration. If you sent the form on Wednesday and want to start on Monday, it is likely that your course will start a week later. This is due to the fact that the language school assigns students to groups and makes payments by Thursday, Saturday and Sunday are non-working days.
You have received an email inviting you to take the English test and pay the tuition. In order for the school to process your payment and assign you to a group, make the payment by Thursday, as the course starts on Monday or Saturday (Saturday program).
The test is available at link. Take it from a computer or laptop, because this test is not supported on mobile devices. Allow 30 minutes to complete it. In the test, you will not only check your knowledge of grammar, but also select the answer from the audio recording and paste the words into the text.
After passing the test, take a screenshot of the results with your level of English and your score, and send it to the manager by Thursday. The test results will also be emailed to you or available in your personal office at link.
After providing the test results and payment confirmation, the manager will send the data to the language school.
On Sunday or Friday (if you study on Saturdays), you will get an email from the school giving you access to the virtual classroom. Keep in mind that Canada has a different time zone, so the email may come in the evening or even at night. Also check your spam folder more often.

If I realize that the program is too difficult, can I change to another program / transfer to another group?
A test before you start your course will show your level of English. Based on this, you will be allocated to the right group. If your language level is not good, you will start with the General English programme first. If the group is too difficult, you may be moved to a weaker group.
Will I be able to change my class time if my work schedule changes?
If you want to change your class schedule, you will need to give 3 days' notice before your intended change of time slot. In this case you will be transferred to another group with a new teacher.
How do I determine how many weeks of training I will need?
You would need 4 weeks of Full-time study to improve to level 1. So you will need more weeks (6 and 8 weeks respectively) for the Semi-time and Saturdays programmes. If you don't know your English level, you can take a free test at our site.
