Winnipeg police have arrested and charged a 32-year-old man with second-degree murder in connection with a mass shooting that left four people dead early Sunday morning.
The shooter's name is Jamie Randy Felix and he is accused of killing four people and seriously injuring another person. The arrest happened at 6:30 a.m. on Dec. 1 at the Fernwood Avenue home where he allegedly lived.
Manitoba Metropolitan Police held a press conference on the matter as early as 10 a.m. this morning. At the conference, officials said the suspect has only been in custody for a few hours, so they can't say if he knew the victims or why he was at the Langside Street home where the mass shooting occurred on Sunday. An investigation is still underway at this time.
