Manitoba calls for businessmen to hunt for foreign employees

Authorities are encouraging participation in the job fair.

Winnipeg officials have called on potential employers in the province to participate in the 19th annual Destination Canada Mobility Forum. The city posted a notice on its website announcing the dates of the event and a reminder that skilled workers can be found at the job fair.

Among the pros of participation are mentioned:

  • the possibility of hiring trained personnel with other experience and foreign education;
  • assistance from qualified provincial and federal immigration representatives right on the spot;
  • logistical support from the province, including candidate screening and interview scheduling;
  • exposure to other employers in Winnipeg, Manitoba and across Canada — which means valuable connections.

Recall that the forum with a job fair will be held this year in three stages:

  • Paris, France: November 18-19;
  • Rabat, Morocco: November 22-24;
  • online: December 4-6.

We have already written about the conditions of participation and how to register for the event here.
