Canadian teenagers will be able to go to the gym for free
The chain of gyms GoodLife has launched a free program nationwide.
Canadians are as usual trying to diversify the leisure time of children. The GoodLife gym chain has launched a promotion for teens ages 12 to 17. As part of it they will be able to visit the gym for free and use different kinds of equipment, from kettlebells to TRX belts. They will also get free access to a large library of fitness video lessons.
The other areas of the hall, such as the tennis courts and swimming pools, cannot be visited as part of this project. You will have to buy a pass there separately. And teenagers will not be allowed to use potentially dangerous equipment, such as barbells.
You can sign up for the program now. It runs from July 5 to September 4. In order to register on the project website, a teenager needs the approval of a parent or guardian. He or she will be able to visit the sports complex and practice on his or her own.
