Russians consider Canada one of the best countries for immigration
In a survey conducted among residents of Russia, Canada is in the lead.
In April of this year, Canada topped the best countries in the world. As it turns out, Russians partly agree with this. The Russian job search portal SuperJob came to this conclusion. The company conducted a survey to find out in what country would prefer to live in Russia. The survey involved 3,000 people from the economically active population over the age of 18.
Canada was the top three country of choice for Russians. Almost half of the respondents chose their native Russia, with the United States in second place and Canada, Italy, and Switzerland sharing third place. Interestingly, there were three times as many men as women among those who chose Canada, while the opposite was true for Italy.
The survey also found that Canada was most popular among system administrators — almost a quarter of respondents in this profession would choose it for their lives. In addition, the desire to move to this country was especially noticeable among skilled workers, customer service managers, salespeople and economists.
In Canada, professionals are also welcome, especially now that businesses are reopening after the pandemic. The number of jobs in the country is growing, especially in sectors such as hospitality, health care and retail.
