Another job fair from New Brunswick
The event will be held online for some professions.
New Brunswick invites members of the hospitality industry to an online job fair. Successful candidates will be able to find an employer in the province, as well as get a PR.
Requirements
New Brunswick is seeking candidates with experience in one of the following occupations:
- managers of restaurants and food service establishments;
- supervisors in the food service industry;
- chefs;
- cooks;
- hosts and hostesses;
- barmen;
- waiters;
- hotel front desk staff;
- counter workers and kitchen assistants;
- cleaners.
Must have at least 1 year of full-time experience or 2 years of part-time experience within the last 5 years. Only paid work is taken into account, volunteering and internships are not suitable.
The candidate's spouse, regardless of profession, may also participate in the job fair.
Filing
Candidates who qualify are invited to register on the online portal. There you need to fill in an application form and attach a number of documents in JPG or PDF format:
- valid passport page with photo — obligatory;
- a visa proving legal residence — obligatory if you are not residing in your home country;
- report on certification of diploma of education — if available;
- results of language test — if available;
- resume is optional;
- spouse's or spouse's curriculum vitae — optional.
The questionnaire consists of 4 pages. Important: be careful when filling in, because if you make a mistake, you will not be able to return to the previous page. In the questionnaire you will need to provide the following information:
- your level and area of education;
- cumulative work experience in any occupation;
- country of citizenship and residence;
- age;
- English and/or French language level (based on test results or personal assessment);
- the amount of funds in the accounts;
- having relatives in New Brunswick and other Canadian provinces;
- serious illness or criminal record;
- field of activity and profession;
- length of work experience in the required profession;
- presence of a profile in the system Express Entry;
- the details of his or her spouse, if he or she also plans to participate.
The application form will also ask you in audio message format to describe your experience in the hospitality industry and your motivation to move to New Brunswick. This is optional, but will probably increase your chances of getting invited to the job fair.
What's next?
The New Brunswick Commission will review applications and contact candidates who are interested. They will be notified of the exact date and time 1-2 weeks prior to the job fair. Only candidates selected by the commission will be allowed to participate. Participants who interest the province or employers will then have the opportunity to immigrate to New Brunswick through one of the provincial programs or the Atlantic program.
