Canada will launch a new online portal for permanent residence applications

The online permanent residence application portal allows authorized immigration representatives to submit online applications for permanent residence (except Express Entry). It is currently in beta testing. The online application portal will be available to authorized representatives by September 2021.

Representatives will be able to use the portal to manage online applications from a single account for multiple clients. Previously, such applications were exclusively submitted in paper form. The online application portal will not be linked to the authorized paid representative portal.

To create an online portal account, representatives will need to provide their membership card number, business address and name. They will also need to upload a copy of their identity document (valid passport or driver's license).
