Atlantic Immigration Program for international graduates

International graduates are among candidates who can immigrate through the Atlantic Program.

International graduates of the Atlantic universities who have a job offer from a local employer can immigrate through the Atlantic Immigration Program.

Eligibility

To apply for the program, graduates must meet several requirements:

  • completion of a minimum 2-year academic program at one of the designated universities in the Atlantic provinces;
  • staying in the province for at least 16 months over 2 years of study;
  • job offer in a NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4 occupation:
    • the job offer must be for a minimum of 1 year for NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, and 3 occupations;
    • there are no restrictions for NOC TEER 4 occupations;
  • English or French ability according to the Canadian Level Benchmark (CLB):
    • CLB level 5 for NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, and 3;
    • CLB level 4 for NOC TEER 4;
  • enough money to move and live in Canada (see below).

Settlement funds

The candidate must have a certain amount of money to support themselves and their family members when they arrive in Canada.
