Average Wage in Canada, Minimum Hourly Rate, and Canadian Taxes
Canadians make very good money, but you should be aware that the numbers are in Canadian dollars, not American dollars. Also the amounts before taxes.
People make a lot of money in Canada. And this is not a fairy tale, as some people think, but a reality. But there are two things to consider.
First, all the amounts are in Canadian dollars, which means that in U.S. dollars it's a quarter less. And the second is the pre-tax numbers.
