This page describes the terms and conditions governing the use of Immigrant.Today.

The Immigrant.Today Project (the "Website", “Site”, "We", "Administration") includes a website with the address https://en.immigrant.today.

These Website Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") regulate the use of the Immigrant.Today Project by the User of the Website (hereinafter referred to as the "User"). A User is a person registered on the Website as well as a person who has not undergone the registration procedure but has visited the pages of the Website at least once.

1. General Conditions

1.1 If you choose to use the Site, software, and other files, you agree to comply with all the terms and conditions set out in these Terms of Use (hereinafter, the "Rules"), including by registering your account on the Site. These Rules are a legally binding agreement between the User and the Administration, the subject of which is the provision of services to the User to use the Site and its services.

1.2 We may change the terms and conditions set out in these Terms at any time, and such changes shall take effect immediately upon posting on the Site.

1.3. You are obliged to read these Rules before using the Site. If you continue to use the Site after the promulgation of the amended Rules, it means your consent to comply with the Rules with all their amendments.

1.4 If any terms of these Terms or changes to them are unacceptable to you, you may stop using the Site or terminate your account in the manner set out in paragraph 4.5. of the Rules.

2. Site Content

2.1 The materials published on the Website are intended for personal non-commercial use. All materials published on the Site, including but not limited to: news, photographs, images, illustrations, audio, and video clips (collectively, "materials" or "content") are protected by copyright and are owned or controlled by the Administration or a party that is the content provider. You must comply with any additional copyright notices, information, or restrictions contained on any page.

2.2 Content on the Site is protected by copyright under Canadian and international copyright laws. You may not modify, publish, transmit, participate in the transfer or sale of, reproduce (except as provided in paragraph 2.3 of these Terms), create new works, distribute, perform, or in any way exploit the Site content (including software) in whole or in part.

2.3 You may download or copy the content of the Site, other components, and elements displayed on the Site for personal use only, subject to all copyright and other notices contained therein. Copying or storing any content for purposes other than personal use is strictly prohibited without the prior written consent of the Administration.

2.4 Internet publications and mobile applications are allowed to use the information posted on the Website free of charge, provided that an open hyperlink and mention of the original source is not lower than the first paragraph.

3. Disclaimer of Liability

3.1 We make reasonable efforts to ensure the quality of the information available on the Site. The information contained on the Site is provided for general information purposes only and does not in any way assess an individual's right to immigrate to any country.

3.2 The information contained on this Site should not be construed as legal services or legal advice. Users should contact a qualified immigration lawyer or licensed immigration consultant and obtain professional advice appropriate to their particular circumstances before taking any action or decision based on any of the material on the Site.

3.3 The materials contained on the Site may contain technical, typographical, or photographic errors. We may make changes to the materials contained on the Site at any time without notice.

3.4 We accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of the information contained on the Site and cannot guarantee and will not be legally responsible for the accuracy or completeness of the information.

3.5 We are not responsible for any information posted on third-party websites to which the User accesses through the Site, including, without limitation, any opinions or statements expressed on third-party websites or in their content.

4. Registration and Security

4.1 As part of the registration or account creation process, you will create login credentials by choosing a password and providing an email address.

4.2 Each registration is valid for one user. You may not share your login credentials so that no other person will have access to your account. We may cancel or suspend your access to the Site if you share your login credentials. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password. Failure to comply with the above is considered a violation of the Rules, which may result in immediate termination of your account.

4.3 We welcome participation by people of any age on the Site, however, to protect children, persons under the age of majority may not register on the Site.

4.4. You are responsible for any use or activity on your account on the Site, including the use of your account by third parties with your permission.

4.5 You may terminate your account at any time by contacting mail@immigrant.today.

5. Other conditions

5.1 The Administration reserves the right to:

5.1.1. modify the Site at its own discretion;

5.1.2. edit or delete materials published on the Site;

5.1.3. provide paid and free of charge services to the Users (hereinafter referred to as the "Services");

5.1.4. change the cost and types of the Services, their terms;

5.1.5. to make amendments to the Rules unilaterally;

5.1.6. process the User's personal data.

5.2 Administration is always ready to consider suggestions and wishes of users and third parties about the portal.

5.3 The User is personally responsible for the information they post on the Website.

6. Applicable Law

6.1. Any claims related to the Website shall be governed by the laws of the country where the owner of the Website is located, without regard to conflict of laws rules.
